• To send and receive Joydrops between users

Joydrops — recognition messages you send through the platform — are stored permanently as part of the core product experience. Recipients can view their received Joydrops at any time. Senders can view Joydrops they have sent.

joydrop does not publish or share individual Joydrops publicly without consent. Community Joydrops are visible to members of that community.

joydrop is built on Firebase and Firestore, services provided by Google Cloud. Your data is stored and processed on Google's infrastructure, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers only as necessary to operate joydrop or as required by law.

joydrop may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and improve platform performance. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Joydrops are retained permanently by design — permanence is a core feature of the product.

joydrop is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
